No plans this New Year's Eve???  5South will be playing at a party at the Jasmine Restaurant in Kearny Mesa.  For those of you who have never been there, the food is KILLER and it's a very nice venue.  Full dance floor with disco lights, smoke, etc.  It holds about 500 people and there are less than 100 tickets available. Did I mention the food is KILLER????.....We played at a wedding there last year in front of 500 guests and EVERYONE ate like KINGS!!

WOW!  I had a blast [at the Galley] - the set list was varied and jumpin'!  There was something for everyone - I even got my I'll-never-dance date onto the dance floor...thanks guys!

Hello 5 South members, I saw you guys at the chili cookoff not too long ago and wanted to give you guys kudos. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting the entertainment to be that good--but you guys were awesome. The cover you did of that old 80s song "La Bamba" would make Los Lobos proud--and I should know. That is my absolute favorite soundtrack. That song you did in Spanish was good too. I didn't know what you were saying but it sounded nice. That should be your niche. I hope you make it up to the Bay Area some day. I am passing your website on to a few friends in San Diego so at least they can see you. Good luck!
