When you need great, affordable, professional, live music for your wedding, corporate event, backyard party or any other special event in the Southern California area, 5South is ready to entertain! We are experienced, responsible musicians who specialize in playing a wide variety of party hits including rock-n-roll, funk, reggae, latin and slow-dance songs. We can even DJ your event!
5South Band is now filling our events calendar for 2009. Year 2008 was extremely successful with shows on the USS Midway; Golden Hall; and in the blocked-off streets of downtown San Diego. Hello 5 South members, I saw you guys at the chili cookoff not too long ago and wanted to give you guys kudos. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting the entertainment to be that good--but you guys were awesome. The cover you did of that old 80s song "La Bamba" would make Los Lobos proud--and I should know. That is my absolute favorite soundtrack. That song you did in Spanish was good too. I didn't know what you were saying but it sounded nice. That should be your niche. I hope you make it up to the Bay Area some day. I am passing your website on to a few friends in San Diego so at least they can see you. Good luck!
